Meet The Coaches - Jacinta Hin
Jacinta Hin excels in coaching individuals through life, performance and career challenges using an evidence-based coaching approach, supported by her intuition.
Her coaching clients come from a wide range of professional roles, nationalities and ages. Two specific groups she has focused on are expatriate executives (and their spouses), and bilingual Japanese.
Jacinta's an expert at helping her clients discover how to set and reach career and life goals that are in optimal alignment with both their talents and their sense of life purpose - an approach described concisely by her coaching motto:
"How do you get down to the essence of things?"
She's also adept at supporting, inspiring and challenging clients who are already taking action toward their goals - but need the 'warm accountability' of a coach who understands that career and life transitions take time, patience and are rarely linear.
Based in Tokyo, Japan since 1989, Jacinta's professional experience has included being the Japan office manager of a Dutch market entry firm, an executive search consultant and the Asia-Pacific HR Manager for a multinational plastics manufacturer. All of these positions have contributed to her success as a life and career coach.
In 2006 Jacinta added to her career mentoring and intercultural skills, by graduating as a Certified Professional Coach with the ICF-accredited International Coach Academy.
Jacinta has been featured in the 'Tokyo Metropolis' magazine and has written for the online Japan careers site, DaiJob.com. She also contributed a chapter for a commercial coaching eBook and maintains her own coaching blog at JacintaHin.com.
Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Jacinta holds a Masters degree in Japanese studies from the University of Leiden, is fluent in English and Dutch, and speaks and reads good Japanese.
